Summary
Amphetamines and Methamphetamines are CNS stimulant drugs indicated for the treatment of obesity and attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity. Amphetamine may generally be detected in urine for 1 to 3 days. False positive results may be seen with sympathomimetic amines such as Ephedrine, Pseudoephedrine, Selegiline, Benzphetamine, Fenfluramine, Mephentermine, Phenmetrazine and Phentermine.
