Summary
Swine flu (H1N1) virus belongs to the family of Influenza A viruses. This assay detects 4 targets of which the first target detects Influenza A; second & third targets detect H1N1 Influenza A ( H1N1, 2009) & H1N1 Influenza A ( H1N1, 2009) subtype H1; fourth target as RNase P gene serves as a positive control for the presence of human nucleic acid. RNase P target is usually positive in all samples.
